Nestlé
Corporate staff induction program

The Nestlé HR division chose TNA to design and produce a high quality induction training program on CD-ROM for all new UK employees.

The program had to be flexible and comprehensive enough to suit employees at all levels and in all types of job. We researched, scripted and created all of the content. The result is a fun, media-rich program that includes virtual video and audio interviews with the MD, office and factory staff, interactive learning games and exercises and even a 360 degree interactive tour of the KitKat factory at York.

The program features a library packed with hundreds of images and videos of Nestlé product advertisements over the years as well as major sections devoted to explaining the Nestlé culture, core values and behaviours. Numerous (editable) links are provided to Nestlé intranet pages and to the web sites of associated companies. The program has been designed to serve both as an upbeat welcome and as a continuing source of useful information.

The project was created using Macromedia Authorware with all content drawn dynamically from an external, client-editable database.

Our Client's view:

"To enhance our induction processes, and to support the use of e-Learning, we had an objective of producing an induction CD-ROM that could be used by all new staff (shop floor worker to senior manager) and give them a good understanding of the large and complex company they were going to join.

Many companies tendered for the work and TNA stood out in terms of their understanding of what we wanted to achieve and their practical approach. From the time we commissioned them to completion of the project, everything TNA did confirmed we had made the right choice of supplier.

Specifically, they worked as true partners, they kept us fully informed at all times and were extremely responsive to our changing needs, demonstrating considerable flexibility. Where appropriate, they challenged our thinking. It was clear from the outset they had a high level of technical expertise balanced with creative design inputs. This is evidenced by the final product, which we believe to be of very high quality.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the work of TNA on this project and have no hesitation in recommending them to other companies."
