The
catalogue is for internal company use and was programmed
in Visual Basic to give rapid access to a 23,000 record
database.
Within a chosen category, typing a single letter immediately
retrieves matching records; typing additional letters
narrows the search still further. Selecting a record
then displays associated information (eg: all albums
for an artist). Sample music clips are available for
certain albums and a sleeve image is displayed for every
album.

A
'multi-search' retrieves records using any combination
of search attributes across all fields in the database.
Built-in 'Help' facilities include a context-sensitive
Hint box and a Tutorial which leads the user through a
demonstration of every function.
