Needs
analysis
We
can carry out a detailed investigation of your existing
situation, determine what is required and recommend measurable
solutions that will achieve your business objectives. |

|
Project Management
End-to-end
control with regular reporting ensures that you know where
the project stands at all times and that we deliver exactly what we
promised, when we promised it. Tied to each deliverable
is a client sign-off point, agreed in our contract, representing
unambiguous payment points.

Quality Control
A topic we take very
seriously and in many different ways . . .
- graphics ~ every image ‘sweet'
and pixel perfect
- text ~ spelling, grammar and
punctuation in any language
- audio and video ~ top quality
within delivery limits
- program structure, navigation
and control ~ robust, reliable, intuitive

Innovative
and engaging solutions
We don't just wait to be told what to do; once we understand what you want
to achieve within a set budget and agreed technical limits, then we come
up with the ideas.
TNA solutions engage, entertain, challenge, educate and measure understanding.
We believe that 'passengers don't learn' - that if you give a learner full control
plus adequate resources then invite them to tackle a task, the experience will
stick. Learners who only need to turn pages lose interest and absorb far less.
We apply the same approach to measuring understanding and competence. Rather
than simply testing memory with a multi-choice quiz, we've developed highly effective
techniques for delivering task-based exercises that have learners coming back
for more.

Intelligent
designs
Programs that are easy to use and cost-effective
to maintain. For example, we produced a dynamic product preview
CD in English for i2 Ltd, using Macromedia Flash.
i2 then
added nine further languages including Russian and Greek
(screen text and voiceover) without involving TNA and
with no changes to the program .

Creative
graphics
Our interfaces and original
illustrations are fresh, stylish and of the very highest
quality. Have a look at the many examples in the Portfolio section.

Storyboarding
and Scripting
We
lay the foundations for an effective and enjoyable
program with a tight, sparkling script. The storyboard
document shows you exactly what will happen at every
moment in the program. It's the project ‘bible' for
client review, modification and sign-off, as well as
defining all the content that will be used.
We're hot
on version control too, crucial for managing
and delivering complex projects on time. |

Language
translations
TNA has scripted and managed CD-ROM and web projects
in many languages, working closely with the same translation
agency for the past 10 years. We look after everything: text
translation, client review, editing and voiceover recording.
Translators are native speaking linguists working typically
for the BBC World Service or the diplomatic services and
the professional voiceover actors are always native speakers.
Languages delivered include Russian, Arabic, Mandarin, Japanese,
French, German and Spanish.
And it's not just about arranging translations. We program with great care to
ensure that text is correctly positioned without overrun or misalignment, that
menu buttons and titles are properly labelled and that special characters will
appear on standard Microsoft Windows systems anywhere in the world.

Multimedia
programming
For 14 years we've used
Macromedia Authorware , the leading development
tool for creating interactive e-Learning and other structured
multimedia programs. For web or intranet delivery, we've
6 years experience applying Macromedia Flash, DHTML
and JavaScript to produce small, fast, scalable programs
of high quality.

Animation
For
dynamic, two-dimensional animations there is nothing to
beat Flash (unless, of course, you are a dyed-in-the-wool
Macromedia Director fanatic, but that's another
discussion!). TNA Flash animations bring alive
otherwise dull or slow moving concepts with intrigue and
fun.

3D
Modelling and Product Simulations
Sometimes
our clients want the realism that only 3D modelling can
bring to an e-Learning sequence or a presentation. A dynamic ‘flying
eye' trip around a hospital ward, the world's first camera
phone, a portable satellite modem . . . all examples
of how TNA has worked closely with its clients to create
stunning interactive simulations, often months or years
before the products were launched.
Have a look at our projects that have made use of 3D
Modelling.
Where ‘real world' simulations of an existing environment are needed, we use a special
lens and digital camera to create 360 degree interactive scenes in which the
user can pan around and zoom in. These scenes can be linked together and often
include ‘hot spots' which, when clicked, can lead to other rooms, play a voiceover
or run a video sequence or animation. The technology is called ‘QuickTimeVR'
and is a very cost-effective and engaging tool. We used this approach in the Nestle Staff Induction project.

Software
Simulations
How do you demonstrate to a
potential customer the benefits of your software product
in action, in their own applications? How do you give learners
the opportunity to practise using an application and, while
they're using it, track their progress and help them when
they get stuck? TNA has many years experience simulating
software applications with great realism.

 |
Audio and Video production
A poorly-delivered narration will ruin a multimedia
production. All TNA voiceovers are recorded in studio by
professional actors, often with the client present. We've
scripted and directed actors in role-playing training sequences,
interviewed staff from shop floor to boardroom in major
corporations and even recorded hazardous manufacturing
sequences. Pre-production is carried out by a top broadcast
TV crew, post-production by a local video facilities studio.

Management & Systems Integration |
 |
Databases and
Learning Management Systems
The content of many
TNA projects is drawn dynamically from a database, allowing
easy updating by our clients. These include web sites
populated from databases using ASP (eg:
IBO), streaming competence
tests, searchable catalogues (eg:
Warner, Dean & Wood) and a complete on-line course
booking system for a New York training centre (SITA Airport Services).
We have also implemented Net Dimensions' award winning EKP Learning Management
System across the entire Phones 4U retail
store group.
|
 |
AICC/SCORM
compliant content
We
have integrated many of our clients' e-Learning modules
with major LMS systems for module launching and learner progress data exchange.
|
 |
Client Systems
Integration
Often
we need to exchange information with a client's proprietary
systems such as HR databases, on-line product catalogues
and pricing systems. We will work directly with your IT
staff to ensure that we deliver a fully compliant and robust
solution. (eg:
Fiat Financial Services) |
